£1,599.00£1,799.00

The ENSIS JIVE is a versatile mid-length foil board inspired by our WALTZ and ROCK’N’ROLL.

Its well-balanced design places extra board length behind the foil box, reducing swing weight for a compact feel while still benefiting from increased waterline length.

Wing, Parawing and Downwinders

Freeride & Race Wing
The JIVE’s streamlined shape and sharp rails let you generate speed effortlessly, making take-offs smooth and easy. The pintail design allows for efficient pumping and ensures quick acceleration, allowing you to use smaller foils. Whether cruising or racing, you’ll have the confidence to lift off every time.

Lightwind Wing
The JIVE’s maximizes light wind conditions, its long, narrow shape and flat bottom help you build speed effortlessly. The perfect amount of nose rocker prevents the nose from sinking, while the sharp rails ensure optimal water release, making take-offs easy – letting you foil when others are stuck waiting.

Parawing and Downwinders
The JIVE is the ideal parawing board. Its well-balanced shape and reduced swing weight make it feel light and responsive in the air. Whether carving downwind swells or riding ocean waves, you’ll have the confidence to get on the foil quickly and reliably, allowing you to navigate the surf with ease.

“The JIVE is an absolute blast for parawinging! It pops up effortlessly, and I can carve through lake swell with ease. Every ride is pure joy.” – Michi “Rawham” Näf

Wave Wing Foil & Prone Foil
The JIVE 46L is fine-tuned for surf foiling, featuring a wider tail for effortless foil take-offs. Its extended waterline length enhances paddling speed, making it easier to catch waves. The rails are more rounded in the front, allowing for smoother touchdowns and easy recoveries, the JIVE keeps you connected to the wave and in full control, letting you focus on carving.

Performance Features

For intermediates to experts
The mid-length design is narrower than traditional boards, making it best suited for intermediate riders.

Early & efficient lift
The long, narrow shape generates speed effortlessly, allowing you to get on the foil with minimal effort. Compared to traditional board shapes, the JIVE enables you to use a smaller wing or foil in the same wind conditions.

Great stability
The JIVE has excellent stability in the water thanks to its well-balanced volume distribution. With volume concentrated in the center, it keeps you steady, while the tucked-in rails let the board sit deeper in the water, increasing stability when off the foil.

High agility
The JIVE feels quick and intuitive underfoot, thanks to its well-balanced design. The foil box is positioned further forward, while the extra board length is added behind the foil. This minimizes swing weight, making turns snappy and precise.

Responsiveness and control
The front deck section of the board is recessed and designed to be parallel with the foil tracks. This lowers your center of gravity, improving control, balance, and provides a more direct and intuitive foiling experience.

Radical carving
The JIVE’s spacious deck extends all the way to the rails, giving you plenty of room to position your feet for maximum control. This allows for precise foot placement, enabling smooth, powerful carves and radical turns.

Quick rebound
The diamond-shaped nose and rocker help recover quickly from touchdowns, keeping you on the foil during downwinders and wingfoil sessions.

Lightwind wing foil
Minimal drag and excellent planing make it easy to build speed and take off, even in marginal conditions, allowing you to get the most out of light wind sessions.

Racing wing foil
The pintail design makes it easy to pump and generate speed, allowing you to ride a smaller foil.

Wave & Prone
The JIVE 46L is tuned for surf foiling, featuring a wider tail and rounder rails in the front for easy paddling and smooth take-offs and touch downs. It pairs perfectly with foil assist setups.

Hover Wing Foil Board Size

Below is a rough guide to help determine Hover Wing Foil board size based on rider weight and skill level. A “beginner” rider is considered as someone with no previous board sport experience.

Keep in mind that additional factors, such as wind conditions, foil, and kite wing size will play an important role in the selection of the right board size.

As a rule of thumb, we recommend erring on the side of a more buoyant board with a volume that matches rider weight (for example, an 80kg rider will need at least an 80L board or larger). Riding a “sinker” will work in locations with steady, strong winds, while floatier boards prove to be a safer choice as they allow the rider to get back to shore even if the wind drops under a foilable limit.
