AXIS PNGv2 1200 – Ā The Ultimate Pump and Glide Beast

Get ready to unleash the raw power of the AXIS PNGv2 1200Ā Carbon Front Wing, the successor to the legendaryĀ PNG 1150. Sharing the DNA of theĀ FIREBALLĀ range, namely the straight median line and proven high-performance foil section, delivering unrelenting performance in every session.

With a colossal surface area exceeding 1800cm² and a punchy aspect ratio of 8, the PNGv2 1200 is a grunty powerhouse, ready to get down and dirty from the moment it hits the water.

Designed for the heavy hitters, the PNGv2 1200’sĀ modest 1200mm wingspan is a game-changer for beach starts and tricky dock scenarios, where larger wings can become a handful. This compact beast offers instant juice, providing explosive lift and forgiving balance that makes every ride feel instinctive.

Whether you’re pumping on flatwater, mastering dock starts, carving wake, wingfoiling in the lightest breezes, SUP surfing, or chasing micro bumps, the PNGv2 1200 delivers unmatched stability and relentless glide.

Built for riders who crave power and versatility, this wing pumps with effortless rhythm and glides like a dream, redefining what’s possible in minimal conditions. Connecting seamlessly to the AXIS black fuselages with 2 x M6 and 2 x M8 screws, and featuring AXIS’s signature graphics with all key measurements, including aspect ratio, the PNGv2 1200 is as practical as it is ferocious.

The completely reimagined newĀ PNG 1300v2Ā now runs on our Black fuselage series (we recommend our latestĀ Black Advance+Ā range).

The AXIS PNG 1300v2Ā boasts low stall speeds, lower drag, better acceleration, better turning and a significantly higher top-end speed –  thanks to its finely tuned High Camber (High-lift) / Low-drag foil section.

The 1300 v2Ā has reduced surface area (1632 sq cm) compared to the previousĀ PNG 1300Ā (1712 sq cm), but with the addition of its new foil section, it achieves the same capacity for early lift.
Vastly improved turning and a balanced lift distribution ensure a smooth, stable and comfortable ride, with predictable pitch control that makes navigating between bumps and pumping a breeze.

AXIS PNGv2 1400, the largest and most advanced front wing in its class. Built on the back of the recentĀ PNGv2 1300, and boasting the same foil section as ourĀ FIREBALLĀ range, this beast has been engineered for unparalleled performance.

The PNGv2 1400Ā does all the heavy lifting, thanks to a high aspect ratio nudging 11, delivering endless glide and exceptional pumping ability. Designed to dominate in the weakest foiling conditions, theĀ PNGv2 1400Ā offers early lift and supreme control, making it the go-to choice for riders of all skill levels.

Perfect for ultra-light-wind wingfoiling, light-wind SUP and DW, dock starts or effortless wake foiling behind a boat, the PNGv2 1400 will have you flying effortlessly with unmatched stability and efficiency. While not built for outright speed, its focus on ease and versatility makes it the ultimate high aspect wing for nearly every rider. With a wingspan of 1400mm, it’s over twice as stiff as smaller models, leveraging AXIS’s cutting-edge rigidity and construction for a solid, responsive ride.

TheĀ PNGv2 1400Ā has been designed to fit seamlessly on our black fuselages using 2 x M8 and 2 x M6 screws. The new design features detailed graphics displaying all key measurements, including the aspect ratio, for quick reference and easy accessory swaps. Whether chasing endless glides or mastering minimal conditions, the AXISĀ PNGv2 1400Ā sets a new standard for glide, control, and accessibility in foiling.

How to service your Lift Efoil Motor

Lip Seals and Oil Change

These instructions will walk you through the replacement of the two Lip seals and perform your own oil change.

Note: It will be easier to perform these repairs with the mast removed.

Step 1
If the Lift LCS is installed, remove the prop. For a conventional prop, remove the center bolt, then pull out the propeller and pin (the pin may fall out, make sure not to lose it). If the propeller is jammed, you may try to: a. lightly tap on it, b. soak it in water for about an hour, or, c. use a prop remover.

Ā

Step 2

Remove the four screws that connect the LCS base or shroud to the motor casing.Ā  Slide out the LCS base or shroud.Ā  Four replacement screws are provided.Ā  Use NEW/provided Allen Wrenches to remove the screws.

Step 3
Remove the Rotary Seal from the shroud or LCS base.Ā  Use a sharp object is required.Ā  Replace with provided Lip Seal, open side facing motor.

Step 4
Use a sharp object to remove Lip Seal from motor.Ā  Remove and replace the compression O-Ring.

Step 5
Remove the drain fill screw and replace the O Ring.Ā  Tilt the motor with the screw hole facing downward. Without the seal and screw, the oil should drain easily; While the drain hole faces down, twist and rotate the motor housing in a circular motion to help the oil accumulate at the opening. If the oil appears very milky, clean it using brake cleaner. Use the straw attachment on the brake cleaner can to spray up the drain hole and help flush out any contaminants.

Step 6
Tilt the motor with the drain hole facing up.Ā  Install the second Rotary Seal provided, open side facing prop.Ā  Use syringe and thick needle provided to add oil to the motor.Ā  You may need to use most or all of the oil.Ā  The oil bottle provided contains slightly.Ā  DO NOT OVERFILL.Ā  If the oil reaches the top, remove about 5-10 ml using the syringe.

Hover Wing Foil Board Size

Below is a rough guide to help determine Hover Wing Foil board size based on rider weight and skill level. A ā€œbeginnerā€ rider is considered as someone with no previous board sport experience.

Keep in mind that additional factors, such as wind conditions, foil, and kite wing size will play an important role in the selection of the right board size.

As a rule of thumb, we recommend erring on the side of a more buoyant board with a volume that matches rider weight (for example, an 80kg rider will need at least an 80L board or larger). Riding a ā€œsinkerā€ will work in locations with steady, strong winds, while floatier boards prove to be a safer choice as they allow the rider to get back to shore even if the wind drops under a foilable limit.
