The Fatty system was born out of a simple challenge: how do we make foiling easier, longer and more enjoyable, without compromise? Riders wanted to pump further with less energy, to wing in lighter winds and to stretch out their downwind runs in marginal conditions. The answer was to go wider, with higher AR foils that unlocked endless glide and effortless lift. But these wings brought new demands. They needed a platform strong and efficient enough to drive them, without bleeding energy at the connection points. That’s where the Fatty Fuse comes in.
Developed in Axis’s proven Advance+ lengths of Short, Ultrashort and Psychoshort (just 520mm), the all-new Fatty Fuse was designed hand-in-hand with the Fatty Mast to keep today’s biggest wings locked in and alive underfoot. Wider, stiffer and uncompromising, it delivers the backbone that high-aspect foils demand, so you can chase glide, pump longer and ride with less effort – exactly as we intended when creating the Fatty system.
Every detail has been engineered for reliability where it matters most. The Fatty Fuse brings a major boost in strength and load tolerance to pair seamlessly with our thicker mast profiles, ensuring that even the largest foils remain predictable and responsive. Complete with our sacrificial zinc-anode for lasting durability in harsh conditions, it’s the kind of refinement that keeps you riding longer without thinking twice.
