MANERA Seafarer Wetsuit FZ 4.3

£289.00

Colour: Anthracite

SKU: MAN23-SEAFARER-43 Categories: , Tag:

The MANERA SEAFARER 4.3mm is the go-to wetsuit: Reliable from mid-season to early winter, this is probably the wetsuit you’ll use most often all year round.

The SEAFARER brings you back to the essentials of what makes a good wetsuit, nothing more, nothing less: warmth, comfort, durability. It’s a no-nonsense wetsuit with MANERA’s renowned fit and construction.

If you are looking for a high-performance wetsuit at an affordable price, this is the right choice.

Some areas are very sensitive to friction, tensions and tearing. All MANERA wetsuits have been designed with a demanding brief including:

  • Avoiding seams in tensions area, to maximize flexibility and strength.
  • Making sure the seams are stretched vertically and not sideways.
  • Removing seams from friction areas, which avoids rash and increases stretch capacity.
  • Reinforcing strategic parts and panels right where it needs to be.

Features

Designed in 3D
When the industry standard is to develop 2D patterns and try to fit it on a 3D body, MANERA decided to break new ground and take the opposite direction. They use computer design to model good-fitted gloves in 3D, then they employ an innovative software that converts it into a precise 2D pattern for the factory. It creates a natural, second-skin fit that makes the MANERA range stand out.

Sealing Prints
Sealing prints make the ankles and wrists stiffer. It has a joint role that keeps the water away and maintains the arms and legs panels in place.

Fusion Cut
The different neoprene layers are fused on the tips of arms and legs to make it thinner and more aesthetic. It protects the inside neoprene foam (AIR FOAM) by covering it.

GBS Seams
The neoprene layers are glued together and then “blind-stitched” (the needle does not go through the neoprene layer completely). In addition to being 100% waterproof, this type of stitching offers a high level of flexibility.

Seafarer neoprene materials 43 53

Triplex SEAFARER
The Triplex SEAFARER is designed to be reliable and efficient. These three materials brought together provide everything you need in a good wetsuit: Warmth, flex, comfort.

  • Re-flex skin / Protection
  • S-foam / Insulation
  • X10D + / Warmth & flexibility

X10D Jersey
The X10D fabric not only provides maximum stretch and lightness, but also a smooth, silky feeling on the skin. The X10D fleece offers good thermal insulation all around the chest and is 22% lighter than a classic jersey, which provides a great comfort and lightness on the water.

A good fit means everything

  • Warmth: No water entry, no air pocket.
  • Durability: The neoprene is only stretched when moving.
  • Comfort: No over tight areas, comfortable armpits/crotch.
  • Style: Folds will never be fashionable.

Hover Wing Foil Board Size

Below is a rough guide to help determine Hover Wing Foil board size based on rider weight and skill level. A “beginner” rider is considered as someone with no previous board sport experience.

Keep in mind that additional factors, such as wind conditions, foil, and kite wing size will play an important role in the selection of the right board size.

As a rule of thumb, we recommend erring on the side of a more buoyant board with a volume that matches rider weight (for example, an 80kg rider will need at least an 80L board or larger). Riding a “sinker” will work in locations with steady, strong winds, while floatier boards prove to be a safer choice as they allow the rider to get back to shore even if the wind drops under a foilable limit.
