Fitted with the patented 3-strut wing, this large surface wing offers impressive maneuverability, making it the ideal tool for wing foiling in light-wind conditions. The innovative design features a smaller wingspan, allowing for efficient pumping and ensuring that the wingtips stay clear of the water’s surface. The small diameter center strut allows for maximum power with a minimal weight, and the perfect balance of the wing facilitates the creation of apparent wind, increasing its high-end capabilities.
The F-One team has worked extensively on three areas to improve the performance and durability of the CWC V3: the materials, their placement, and the design. The airframe of the wing is made of the exclusive HITEX 158g and 178g, which offer great resistance to elongation and provide increased durability and performance. The central strut is thinner in diameter thanks to the HITEX 158g, and its independent valve allows for better control of its pressure. The longitudinal reinforcements help to maintain the shape and resistance of the strut. The two central segments of the leading edge are made of HITEX 178g, while the remaining segments are in 158g, perfectly distributed to account for the different tensions, high pressures, and weight distribution in this area.
They have also implemented the new NANO canopy, an innovative micro ripstop polyester in 55g, across the entire canopy of the wing. This material benefits from a NANO coating and a Plasma treatment process, resulting in increased rigidity, resistance to elongation and tears, and improved durability.
A completely new design, conceived through Sail Engineering, precisely adapts the wing’s shape to the tensions and materials. Every panel on the CWC V3 is laid to carry a specific load, and the alignment of the fiber precisely along the load paths allows for greater control of stretch. The wind range of the STRIKE CWC is extended, and the range of wind strengths where the wing feels perfect is greater than ever before.
The handles have been optimized to improve rider control of the wing, rigidified for improved performance, and designed to maintain a natural position for sheeting in.
The Compact Wing Concept (CWC) patent allows for greater surface area without compromising lightness and performance, resulting in highly maneuverable and easy-to-use wings with less wingspan.
Sizes
The STRIKE CWC V3 is available in four sizes, ranging from 6 to 9m², with the addition of the 9m² size for riders of a larger stature.
