Built for the cold and windy winter days

The MANERA MAGMA 5.4.3mm is the weapon of choice if you want to spend the whole winter in the water. Featuring a 2mm windproof Magma hood attached to a 5.4.3mm suit, it is the suit the MANERA cold water team is using in Iceland, Vancouver or Sweden.

The Magma+ is one of the best material out there: not only its fleece works as an effective insulator and heat generator, but it is manufactured to be extremely flexible to keep even the thickest suit very stretchy. In addition, it dries 30% faster than a classic fleece, you’ll never have to put on a wet wetsuit again.

It is the wetsuit of your choice if you don’t want to stay home during winter sessions.

Some areas are very sensitive to friction, tensions and tearing. All MANERA wetsuits have been designed with a demanding brief including:

  • Avoiding seams in tensions area, to maximize flexibility and strength.
  • Making sure the seams are stretched vertically and not sideways.
  • Removing seams from friction areas, which avoids rash and increases stretch capacity.
  • Reinforcing strategic parts and panels right where it needs to be.

Features

Designed in 3D
When the industry standard is to develop 2D patterns and try to fit it on a 3D body, MANERA decided to break new ground and take the opposite direction. They use computer design to model good-fitted gloves in 3D, then they employ an innovative software that converts it into a precise 2D pattern for the factory. It creates a natural, second-skin fit that makes the MANERA range stand out.

Magma Plus Fleece
The MAGMA + material is one of the warmest on the market and is highly stretchable, which brings an unmatched  freedom of movement to the suits. Its plush loops work as effective insulators and heat generators while providing a smooth and soft feeling that makes the suit  incredibly comfortable. Thanks to its quick drying fleece, drying time is reduced by about 30% on a conventional fleece and the light weight structure makes it 10% lighter than a classic fleece.

Sealing Prints
Sealing prints make the ankles and wrists stiffer. It has a joint role that keeps the water away and maintains the arms and legs panels in place.

Back Knee Emboss
The back of the knees is an area that requires specific care. The BACK KNEE EMBOSS helps the neoprene to bend more naturally for greater comfort during flexion of the knees.

Water Strainer
A Wetsuit leg filled up with water is a very uncomfortable issue: The MANERA water strainer panel is here to prevent it. The leaky + perforated neoprene drains the water out of your leg instantly to let you continue the session in the best possible conditions.

SD² Tape 2.0
The neoprene layers are glued together and then “blind-stitched” (the needle does not go through the neoprene layer completely). Then the SD² tape is welded to the seam by an air heater machine. This innovative process brings more durability, waterproofness and flexibility to their wetsuits.

Triple MAGMA

The Triplex MAGMA is designed for warmth.

  • Re-flex skin / Protection
  • Air-foam / Insulation
  • Magma + / Warmth & fast drying

These three materials brought together create a warm, durable and comfortable wetsuit.

Hover Wing Foil Board Size

Below is a rough guide to help determine Hover Wing Foil board size based on rider weight and skill level. A “beginner” rider is considered as someone with no previous board sport experience.

Keep in mind that additional factors, such as wind conditions, foil, and kite wing size will play an important role in the selection of the right board size.

As a rule of thumb, we recommend erring on the side of a more buoyant board with a volume that matches rider weight (for example, an 80kg rider will need at least an 80L board or larger). Riding a “sinker” will work in locations with steady, strong winds, while floatier boards prove to be a safer choice as they allow the rider to get back to shore even if the wind drops under a foilable limit.
